This is to inform you of my planned RETIREMENT on May 22, 2025.

Since I took over this practice from Dr. Jack Fisher on December 1, 1989 I’ve come to get to know you all quite well. To paraphrase Bilbo Baggins, I am immensely fond of you all, and 35 years is too short a time. I don’t know half of you as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

I would love to tell you that there is a young dentist looking to step into my practice much like I did all those years ago. But times change, and the realities of dentistry today do not include a practice such as mine.

However, I am pleased to introduce Dr. Rebecca Skaf at Wyomissing Dentistry located at 1500 Penn Avenue, Wyomissing. Dr. Skaf works alongside my longtime dentist and friend Dr. Joseph Blackburn. Wyomissing Dentistry has been a respected practice in the area for over 30 years. Recently I had the first hand “pleasure” of witnessing her clinical skills. I found her to be very professional and personable. She also comes highly recommended by a good friend of mine, Stephen Sepkowski, owner of Berks Dental Lab. He is in the unique position to assess the clinical skills of many of the dentists in Berks county and had nothing but praise for Dr. Skaf. Enclosed you will also find a letter of introduction from Wyomissing Dentistry. As you look for a new dentist, I highly recommend visiting Dr. Skaf’s office.

I will miss you all very much as I move on to the next chapter of my life.
